Onaqui Mountain wild horses
Great Basin Desert
Rooting for this handsome stallion when he was a bachelor rigorously trying to start his own family was easy to do. It has been heartwarming to watch his progress. His first acquisition was a mare and her recently born foal. I watched him work hard to hang on to them. Now he has a beautiful band and is an established band stallion.

I have been blessed with the opportunity to spend countless hours in the wild pursuing my art while capturing images of horses as nature intended...as they wish to be...simply themselves. My hope, always, is that these images convey to others the soulful beauty and magnificent spirit of wild horses and the landscapes they call home.
